My good friend, and journalism student, has written about my day to day fashion style on her blog, these are some of the photos she took of me in my outfits -

have decided to do a number of posts dedicated to all my friend’s style after being inspired by Elle’s Closet confidential articles. It will be a sneaky peek into the wardrobe’s of the girls that I know and have amazing sense of style in my opinion. My first inspirational girl I have chosen is the beautiful Harriet Nicholson.

Harriet comes from Henley-on-Thames and studies at University in London. She describes her look as quirky, very fashion forward and says, “I like to keep up with latest trends. I think I’m feminine with an androgynous twist.”

“I mainly wear what I like when I see it. I like to take influence from street style.” she says and is inspired by celebrities like Agnes Dean, Alexa Chung and Jessie J.

Harriet likes to shop for high street, vintage and designer. Anything from Primark to McQueen. Her signature piece that she couldn’t live without is her Louis Vuitton bag which she is rarely seen without.

When it comes to designers, Mcqueen is boss. She says, “He was very different. I love the catwalk shows and the fact its a bit rocky. I like the fact Sarah Burton has taken on Alexander McQueen’s role but has managed to keep the essence of McQueen going strong.”

Harriet can be seen turning her nose up at Ugg boots, even though I have seen her wearing them on the occasional hungover Sunday. She says, “People shouldn’t be allowed to wear them on a day to day basis - but i have to admit they are comfy, and I wear them as slippers of when I’m hungover.”
